KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Currys

Managed the analytics workstream for the HR transformation project, transitioning HR operations and payroll to a third party (Capgemini), including developing contractual and commercially impacting KPI’s between organisations spanning HR Operations, payroll and resourcing

Designed the organisation’s first HR analytics database (Azure) integrating HR and payroll data, enabling scalable, automated Power BI reporting solutions such as employee turnover. Produced an internal Data Lakehouse whitepaper covering the expansion to 17 different systems and modules across the organisation.

Developed various bespoke financial / HR analysis models and recommendations to senior HR leaders. These included items such as the financial and people impact forecasts of largescale organisational restructures, examining sickness leave policy harmonisation models and various targeted colleague benefit programs / initiatives.

Year on year trend mapping, data design and organisational hierarchy lead on the international colleague engagement survey (29,000+ colleagues in scope) across the Currys Group. This included acting specialist technical lead on the tender and onboarding of Currys' new engagement survey provider (Glint), overseeing the organisation’s future engagement data design and transition to the Glint platform.

Designed and deployed an updated HRIS full organisational hierarchy under a revamped and unified company reporting structure (20,000+ colleagues). This removed significant structural barriers to enhanced strategic level reporting, added key operational reporting enablers such as store level codification and streamlined data validation processes.

The Benevolent Society

HR technical lead on the data translation, organisational mapping, position structure and migration of over 700 staff transferring from a SAP database to CHRIS21 as part of an organisational acquisition. Additional HR complexity was navigated when integrating public sector crown award entitlements with the national Fair Work System.

Designed an electronic HR/Payroll employee change notification process in Sharepoint completely replacing the previous paper based system and manual spreadsheets. Features included automated emails, approval workflows and contract generation tracking.

Managed the organisational data mapping process and key project contact for annual Gallup Q12 Engagement Survey enabling the linking of engagement data with key business metrics such as client complaints and absenteeism.

Partnered with the Talent and Attraction Lead and IT team to create a completely online vacancy and on-boarding process between CHRIS21 and MyRecruitment+. The unique two way integration provided a platform for sending position metadata (i.e cost centres & FTE) into MR+ while electronically generating new starter information directly back into CHRIS21.

Elevated the organisation’s turnover analytics by designing a regrettable/non-regrettable, high/low impact matrix and automated data collection survey to build upon existing turnover metrics. This allowed managers and leadership teams to deep dive into their voluntary turnover statistics focusing on high impact, regrettable losses to the business.

Elevated organisational capability for utilising HR data in CHRIS21 to meet real time business needs such as available FTE vs actual, position metadata, matrix reporting structures, remuneration banding and CHRIS21 database customisation.

Waverley Council

Revamped existing recruitment tools and processes to both successfully align candidate selection with Waverley's new organisational values and drive enhanced behavioural / cultural assessment.

Southern Cross Austereo

Successfully supported the business through disputing a psychological workers compensation claim and advising on legal avenues for termination due to illness and incapacity.

Project managed a 3 day digital bootcamp for over 50 attendees forming part of SCA’s transformation from a radio to digital media organisation. The impact resulted in 7 groups each generating plans to drive between $1 - 4 million in new revenue for their respective markets.

Navitas

Led the HR start-up of a brand new NZ business unit, liaising with local legal firms in the development of localised contracts. Acting as the sole HR contact for the new College, I quickly generated competency with NZ employment law for the business, advising management on all HR matters.

Drafted critical employee communications during enterprise bargaining and periods of industrial action. This included educating staff on company positioning around key items and obligations during industrial action as well as countering union communications.

Managed enterprise bargaining negotiations with the business and the National Tertiary Education Union for a period of 4 months while the HR Manager role was vacant.

Expanded and upskilled the Administrative Assistant role to act as an HR Coordinator for two business units in Adelaide and Perth. This included close HR support during the eventual closure of the Adelaide College.
